I ran it through dvdfab decrypter no errors came up... burned with icopydvds2 dual layer, message said burn completed successfully...when I played the movie I had all menue items and extras.. all that will play is the last sceen of the movie and that is it...please help...

I am not familiar with icopydvds2 dual layer. Let's start with the DVDFab decrypter. After you decrypt did you try to veiw the movie, and/or does your icopy program allow you to veiw as it is recording. I have had movies do the same thing and have used VobBlanker to get rid of the black screens. VobBlanker and PgcEdit ar both free programs. I have Nero and it gives me the ability to watch as it is encrypting the movie. Right away I can see if I need to stop the burn.

Tell me what movie you are trying to backup and maybe I can be a little more specific.

Sorry I just noticed that the movie is fun with Dick and Jane. That is a Sony movie and therefore has a code that does the black screen. I was able to get around it because I have AnyDVD. If you don't have it you should get it. Even though I have a dual layer burner, I make my backups on DVD-5. This is how I made my backup:

AnyDVD was running and I opened DVDShrink.
After Shrinking I ran it through DVDFab Decrypter.
Then I burned a perfect copy.

For you I would suggest using the VobBlanker.
