error message in dvd x copy

I tried to make a back up of some of my dvds with dvd x copy and it comes up with a error reading source disk message but it doesnt matter if it is new or old or has scratches. And what other dvd copying programs are there besides DVD x Copy

Dvdshrink 1.03. Do a search on the web and you'll find it. Works great and it's free. Also if you bought dvdxcopy you may get a copy of dxc express for free, another good prog. Go to their website to get it.

IF you want ONLY the movie and NO extras,
then do this:

1. Use DVD Decrypter
2. Use DVD2ONE
3. Use Nero Express ( or any other DVD burning software, I use Nero Express)

I have used these fine programs and have backed up a total of 15 DVD's with NO failures. They play on all 4 of my DVD players. I would use a "RW" for the first couple of times to make sure you're doing it right. I did for a couple of times but, since then I have haven't
