What are reputable websites to order my taiyo yuden's from? This will be the first time I will order them. I guess I'll have to wait 2 or 3 business days? I reside in canada.

the poster that was complaining about getting the FAKE TYs, was just upset that he figured if he bought a relatively unknown company brand with the "TYG02" MID coding, that they would be GENUINE TYs, however, we all know that this is NOT the case and is not as easy as simply checking the MID coding these days....
if my memory serves me correctly, his "brand" he purchased from newegg.com was the "AVB" brand, which i can tell you right now are "made in taiwan"...he was under the assumption that if it had "TYG02" MID, they would be genuine...unfortunately, he was wrong to assume this...
newegg.com DOES in fact sell genuine Taiyo Yudens, just have to know WHERE and which ones to buy, not some off brand disc company which you've heard on the grapevine were TYs...those AVB discs definitely ARE NOT~! :)

will def. have to agree with ya there~ :) LOL, newegg.com doesn't have the "best price" for genuine TYs, better deals can be found at supermediastore.com, meritline.com, rima.com, etc. all these stores are located here in CA, so for out of state customers, you guys get the benefit of not having to pay sales tax that i unfortunately have to do :P
in terms of the DVD+R format, i would agree with you that finding the YUDEN000T02's locally (MIJ Fuji/Sony 8x DVD+R are becoming scarce i know) but with the local sales, about $0.30 each can't be beat for DVD+R even online~ :)
