Computer hardware: I'd go with newegg.com
Dvd media-for genuine taiyo yuden: I'd go with meritline. Newegg.com was selling fakes the other month.
Supermediastore.com/rima.com/and americal.com also fine sites to order from.
HP a1118x-b/athlon 64-3300+/BenQ 1650 BCDC/LG 8163B/Modded Wii/Epson-R300 and Ty Watershields!!!

yes newegg is very safe to buy from ,Yes many of us here buy from the site,
dvd burners depends how much you want to spend the best is Plextor PX-716A(which i have)thats going to run you about 112.00 dollars. next choice would be a BenQ. great burner and about half the price of a Plextor ,Lite-On are good drives also ,theses are the top three

I am in total agreement with the others for media or ink go with Meritline or as I do Supermedia. When it comes to the hardware I would highly recommend Newegg! I have bought literally thousands of pieces from Newegg and they are by far in my opinion the best at what they do.
cheers

Yeah thanks :-) I try to pop in every now and then. Been pretty busy over here in Kuwait so I don't get much time to come in here, but I try.
Keep up the good work aabbccdd, and I like the picture ;-)
Cheers

Yep, good to see ya BB.
As for Newegg, they're reputable, but on some things they're overpriced. You'll see differing prices on various items with different dealers. Always watch the shipping costs and taxes as well when ordering. I bought a case from Ajump that was higher than Newegg, but including shipping, Ajump turned out cheaper with no shipping cost on the item. I suggest using the tomshardware stores search feature. http://stores.tomshardware.com/index.php You can find best prices and the vendors are rated for service. I saved quite a bit over newegg prices on my last build and got the same equipment I would have from NewEgg. Service from Ajump and others I used turned out to be as good as Newegg. I needed to return a PSU to Ajump (bad out of the box). Got an RMA for the return, sent in the defective PSU and they sent a new one right away.
