Hello,
I recently purchased a Swap Magic 3.3 DVD (PAL version) and a set of 'MagicKeys V2'. I have a slimline V12 PS2 (SCPH-70003). I am having serious problems getting the disc to rotate as described on this site http://www.chipspain.com/PS2/PS2-Boot-CDs/Magic-Keys-2-PSTwo-v12-v14/

I have tried fiddling with tool C, the metal piece which is inserted in the upper left hole in the console, but I simply can not get the disc to rotate. Is there a way to get it to work or have I wasted my money? I read it is possible to close the lid when using the magickeys but I find that when I insert them I can not close the lid, because of the small metal piece that blocks the bottom-right hole.

Also it seems the Magic Keys 2 are designed for v14 PS2's (the latest 2005 silver models) but mine is a black V12 which came out in 2004. Is there a way to make it work on my V12? Can any of you help? I could not think of any better place to ask than here.

You only need one of tool C D or E i say stick with C its the easiest

I managed to get it to rotate in the end, the only problem now is that it only works when i apply pressure to that little metal piece. I will try blue tac on it.
