there is nothing special about JASON X. DVDDecrypter should do the job by itself without AnyDVD! So if you're not getting the rip, and getting errors, then it's the disk! Try getting another copy of JASON X and you'll see that it will work. You can try cleaning the disk itself and if that doesn't work then it's a bad press and you'll need another copy of the movie.

there is something weird going on there...... as I said, JASON X is nothing special! it's not hard to do. If you have a copy of it already...... why not make a copy from the copy that already works? all you would have to do it use Nero to copy the disk since there is no encryption on the copy!
have you tried to backup another movie? maybe your drive is going bad? do you have 2 drives? use one for reading and the other for burning ..... if you have been doing this already try just using your burner to read and then it will ask you to insert blank media for burning! If you're still having problems then it might very well be your drive itself---> If it's not the disk as you say it is.

well all I can tell you is I burned all the Jason movies including X without any problems what-so-ever. they are nothing special and it was easy to burn. If you are having trouble with this one movie and everything else is burning then all I can tell you is it's the disk! Clean it.... if that doesn't work...... get a new one! You'll see! why should this movie be any different than the others that you burned!?

I tried to back up my copy of Jason X as well, I got it to decryt, but when I back up my movies, I just want the movies, so once it decrypt, I tried to open it with Shrink so I can reauthor but it would not let me......Fab didn't work, either did AnyDVD, this is the only movie I have had problems with.

The CRC error may mean that the disc is scratched or dirty and may even be a bad press. Make sure the disc clean and not damaged and try reripping.
