I have just received an Insignia VHS/DVD dubbing unit as a gift. I have many Disney tapes from when the kids were younger that I would like to copy to DVD. Of course Macrovision will not let me do this eventhough I have the original tapes. Question, if i use a video image stabilizer and record the VHS to another VCR and then use the copied tape in the dubbing unit is it likely to work?

Try a tv/tuner capture card with vcr hooked up to computer for macrovision problem.
