Hi there,
I've been trying to unlock my 6020 - I've unlocked other phones in the past but am having trouble with this one! I paid for a code from www.mobilefun.co.uk, and also tried Nokiafree. I tried it by removing the SIM and also by entering the code with the foreign SIM. I got "code error" twice, the rest of the time no error message. Could anyone help me out with this please?

Handset: 6020

Network: Canada - Rogers (Contract is with Fido but says Rogers on the phone since they merged).

How to enter the generated code?

Every code unlocks a certain lock. Code number 7 usually unlocks them all but some phones are 'buggy' and will not accept code 7 at first then use code 1.

Usually you only have to use code 1 or code 7.

REMOVE SIMCARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Press ( # ) on your phone
2. To get ( p ) press ( * ) 3 times within 1sec
3. To get ( w ) press ( * ) 4 times within 1sec
4. To get ( + ) press ( * ) 2 times within1sec
5. Enter the 15 digit code
6. To get ( + ) press ( * ) 2 times within 1sec
7. Enter code number
8. Press ( # ) on your phone

Now your phone is unlocked!

If your phone isn?t unlocked after code 1 or code 7 then you have either entered the wrong IMEI or Network. Sometimes there could also be a problem with newer software versions. Then you can try another 'Boxserial' Remember! You have only five tries to enter the right code. After that you will need a cable to unlock your phone. So please, BEWARE
