First of all, hello there :)

I just recently got myself a PS2. I have been reading your posts and as a result I have almost figured out how to burn the games. I just wanted to check that my brain is working ok and make sure I understand. I'll just tell you guys what I think I have to do and if you don't mind, you can correct the bits I get wrong please??

I download ISO filess, then I use Alcohol 120% v1.9.5 to burn them onto a dvd disk (I know you recommend Sony but I cant get them here, I hope Phillips will work :))
The I use my Swap Magic 3 boot disk before I use the game, and in theory, it should play.

Am I right?

OK, just one more thing, The swap magic 3 disk, do I have to use alcohol 120% to make it? And is it also on a dvd disk? Do I burn it like a movie? or data?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but from reading your posts, you guys all seem to know your stuff really well.

First of all im not sure if the phillips will work but its worth a try. Use a program called DVD Decrypter it works best with this kinda thing and is specially made for burning img's. Burn the dvds at slow speed i have to burn mine at 2x , im on a fat ps2 btw the way but it might take you a few turns to get the right speed. You will know if its the speed or the media because if your game starts up but loading times are real slow then your medias fine. if sais not a vaild ps2 disk then its more than lightly your media.
