Socom 3 PAL Does matrix infinity chip play Pal ver of games?

I have a ver 14 slim ps2 with matrix infinity chip in it. When i try to play a Pal game the screen flickers up and down. I have converted pal game to ntsc and some have worked, some have not. Could it be i need to somehow set my tv to Pal or something to play Pal or does the Infinity chip not play them without changing a setting somewhere? Intrested in playing Socom 3 Pal online. How do you guys with U.S. ps2's playing this....thanks

Yes, download the lastes firmware of the modchip and when u turn on ur ps2(when u see the matrix logo) press and HOLD triangle + circle (this will bring u to the modchip settings) change the "ps2 screen fix" to PAL60 and the "Y screen fix" to auto. That's it.
and if u want to play online you have to patch the dnas id of the game.

You wont be able to play a PAL game online with a US ps2, sorry.

Negative, im able to play socom 3 PAL online with my matrix infinity modchip and with my NTSC ps2 (i live in new york) u just need to find someone PAL to make u a PAL socom 3 account. thats it.

hey guys! i think is a long time since nobody reply a question here... My name is Ed, and i´m from Argentina... I recently bought a PS2 Slim, with a Mars Pro mod with "Matrix Infinity 1.88 FW"... does anyone here heard about this thing??? kinda weird when the guy that sold it to me tell me that...
