Hi, can anyone show me where I may be going wrong?

I am trying to backup my copy of the lion, the witch & the wardrobe but shrink 3.2.0.15 keeps giving me an 'Invalid data in file VIDEO_TS\_VTS_01_1.VOB.

However I managed to get my back up copy 'of sorts' by using 1click, what am i doing wron with shrink?

When using shrink, what decrypting program are you using? If you are using DVD Decrypter in combination with DVD Shrink, then you will get numerous error messages on the newer disks due to the Sony and Macrovision Encryptions, try using DVD Fab Decrypter first and then Vobblanker on those files (to clear some errors), then burn with Shrink.

You can get DVDFab decrypter here;
http://209.172.35.173/download/DVDFabDecrypter29.exe

If shrink still produces an error when trying to open the files created by DVDFab, then you'll need to process them thru vobblanker first as stated above then open the newly created files using DVD Shrink.

get vobblanker here;

Use Anydvd and believe

DVDFab HD Decrypter (free)... http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm

@Ashnak

Use this new guide (DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker) and you'll be fine. Here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154

Good luck and happy burning!

Having followed the sound advice by to many contributors to name, I found that using VOB solved all my problems. And being of an enquiring mind I decided to try it on the original 'corrupt' file still on my hard drive to & it works!

Once again thanks and as I no longer need this advice i will no longer contribute to this thread.
