Ok im just wondering how this dnas stuff work with a mod chip. Basicly what im wondering is how can you get online with a mod chip. Like how do u get online when you have a mod chip like for example i have an original socom 2 game. When i first modded my ps2 i tried to go online and it wouldnt let me because it gave me a dnas code for a cheat device thingy. So i had to turn off my mod chip and i logged in withought a problem. Now my question is how can you get online with a burnt game when you need a mod chip to boot it up. Wouldn't the dnas code pick up the modchip since its on? Do you need to put it in stealth mode or something like that?
Btw my modchip is PS2 Matrix Infinity se V1.54 (clone)

Your not understanding my question. Im asking basicly do i need to have the mod chip on while logging in or is the mod chip supposed to be set to a special mod like stealth. That guide doesnt answer my question and of course, i have searched on google.

The guide DOES answer your question. Basically when you are trying to play your backup game online, you need to patch the game (follow the guide), and then just boot it normally, so you don't need to do anything with the chip, just need to patch your game. And have some patience, not everyone sits infront of the computer 24-7 answering questions on this forum :)
