Subject says it all. I have all the tools, (UMD Emulator, Dax, RunUMD, Fastloader etc...) I just don't know the steps and/or settings to make it work. Its too big for my 1gb stick right now.
look on other forms to know how to make files smaller
when you can put the iso in your memory stick get umd emulator and run umd
then load the iso with umd emulator and it brings u back to the psp menu look up at the umd it should show untold legends 2
then use run umd to load the game
1. You will need these tools: DAXZISO Package (download from:http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/429), this includes the loader as well as DAX Creator. You will also need runUMD, download this from: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/404 .
2. Extract the DAZISO package to your hard drive.
3. Go to the DAX Creator folder, and start up DAX Creator.exe not daxcr.exe .
4. Specify the input ISO file and the output DAX file.
5. Select the compression level (where 9 is the highest)
6. Click on start.
7. After it is finished copy the compressed .iso.dax file into the ISO folder on the root of your memory stick.
8. Copy the DAXZISO and DAXZISO% folders to your PSP\GAME folder on the root of the memory stick.
9. Start up DAXZISO loader on your PSP, select system menu mode.
10. After you return to the system menu, insert a UMD (any new UMD), go to GAME-->Memory Stick and start RunUMD.
11. After RunUMD starts, press O to extract system files, after that press X to run the ISO.
problem is, after I extract the files with "o" and then hit "X" it just sits there and after about 5 seconds it shuts off?
If I then go in and delete the folder "X" on the root of the memcard and go back and follow your steps except skipping the step where it extracts the files, I can press "X" and it goes to "starting" but soon after that the message "start error" comes up.
actually I didn't have the runumd prog itself (just the umdemulator with runumd that I used to copy the file into the daxziso folder) so I had to choose the option "RUNUMD Loadexec" and that gave me the screen you were talking about (the press o to extract system files or x to start game screen) So I went back and tried to follow your instructions exactly. First I downloaded the only Runumd that I could find. After going to the system menu and then choosing runumd it sayed "patcher failed". So I'm back to square one.
