being a frequent user of kazaalite i was wondering about virus protection (currently using the latest version of norton,regulaly updated) i got a virus that filled my harddrive with files of about 3 to 4 hundred k (this may have taken some time cos my pc just gets left to run over night,etc) which stuffed up pretty much every thing on my pc, this makes me think my virus protection is pretty much useless:( can anyone reccommend a decent virus protection program ie better than norton as this is all ive ever used so i have no idea what other programs are like any help would be greatly appreciated!!
ps friend of mine got the same virus when running pc-cillin

I too encountered this program and now use Mcafee , no problems so far .

I just got a warning today. Said that "kazaalit.exe might be infected". My virusprotection didn´t know how to remove the virus so i ended up un-instaling the whole app.

McAfee doesn´t work on my PC. Some issue with the finnish version of Win 98SE.
