Dual Layer DVD-R on DVD Shrink?

Just wandering, i own a Macintosh and im going to burn a movie with a Dual Layer 8 GIG DVD using iDVD & iMovie.

After burning the disc, i plan on using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink all into one single DVD layer.

Would that work?

Possibly, it depends on what kind of encryption the movie uses. If it is one of the newer movies with the new Sony and Macrovision Encryptions, then no it would not work, due to the fact that DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter are not being updated anymore. To make sure that you can back up your DVD, you would need to use a program that is more current, such as ANY DVD, or the Free one, DVD FAB Decrypter. However, I am not familiar with a Mac version of these programs, so you might need to check out with Google to see if there is one.
