hi i just got my 2nd psp and its a white jap import, i have one for homebrew and this is the one in want to use to just update and use for updating and playing games rather then have a 100 loaders just for loading umds. do i need 2 use the button changer hack, or can i just update the software to a UK (where i am) 2.6. also can u use the button changer hack on any version or does it have 2 b a certain one? thanks

if you are talking about pspset to swap buttons only a 1.5 can do that. you couldnt access the flash so you couldn't do it that way. however if you have a 2.01 or 2.5 u can update to a us/uk fw.

Joeva, if you're implying that updating with a us/uk firmware will switch the buttons. I'm not sure that'll work. I upgraded with a Japanese firmware on my U.S. psp and the buttons are still the same. But I'm not 100% sure.

im sure u can swap the buttons using the gta loader , i hope so bcoz i dont want to be using the o as x :( lol , but im pretty sure u can swap the buttons using the gta loader
