Hello,

I have backed up my Kingdom hearts 2 on my hard drive because my CD rom is jacked up due to disk error message. When I get to the section where you select another world (after protecting the gate) the game stops playing and the screen is black. When I click on another world, the screen goes black and I get nothing. I let the system sit for several minutes but nothing happens. I deleted the game off of my drive and reloaded it using my PC but the same thing happens. I do have DMZpro (may have the letters wrong ) modchip on my PS2. Has anyone had a problem like this? Thanks in advance

Too many threads like this one.

You need a patch and I found this one site... However, they didn't upload it on their site yet.


UM... The best thing to do is either get the real copy of the game or use swap disc or wait for the patch to be uploaded.

Edit : Why you need to load it on the harddrive, when you have a modchip?

HDA or HDLoader, like I said... Patch is needed for it to work on hd.

Yeah, I found problems with it too. I tested out with the real copy.

Then it freezes where you try to enter another world.

a patch for what exactly? I cant use the real CD because my CD rom is messed up due to the disk read error

Welcome to Squares new protection.
No patch as of yet.
Perhaps no patch hence they never got one working for the Jap release.
