I can't take the original mem card that came with the psp (32 mb) out of the slot I inserted in!!!! I want to take it out so that I can put my 2 gb in!! When I click in the 32 mb it pops up but I can't pull it out!! Someone please help!!
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

jiggle and giggle XD . sorry, i had to say that. but yeah, jus jiggle it a bit, and it may come out. thats all i can think, unless u wana dismantle ur psp... thats all i can think.

is that the best u can do for me??? Thx anyway but I'm scared of breaking if I do that...
I was so excited to play music and movies and the stupidest thing is stopping me...not being able to put my 2 gb stick in!!!
I am ashamed of even talking bout dis...

OMG!!!! I jiggled it in a gentle manner and it came out lol!! Here is another problem...why does it read only 1950 mb and not 2000 mb? (48 mb are spose to be gone but it should have at least 2000 mb)

wellz, one thing i wouldve thought is that a LOT of companies market 1 gig as 1000 mB. 1 gig in computer terms is 1024 mB. so im guessing it could be that?
otherwise, there may be other files that may take up 50mB.
im sticking to my first theory ^_^

thought so. bumhole salespeople sell 200 gB hdd, in actualy fact theyre selling u 195.2gB hdd :p SOMETHING LIKE THAT. u get wut i mean >_<

ok...so someone please tell...am I the only one with 1950 MB (I formatted it then it became 1949 MB...Is there a way I can unformat it?
I know how to do this on comp but not with mem stick sum1 please help...

What for its only 1MB . You're probably one of the many people that have a memory stick with 1950MB of free space instead of 2000MB (it could be a fake)

I have a Sandisk that shows that amount when formatted... and its not a fake (registered and everything). Its just the way the card is... and you can't get back that 1 mb, and even if, it's just 1mb.

All drives and memory cards are like this. You never get the full amount, it's just the way it is. My new 80GB hard drive only has 78.2 GB of space.

Try pushing the memory stick down all the way and letting it pop up on its own. Sometimes my stick gets stuck if I tried to gently pull it out.

I already fixed my problem...thx anyway everybody...I bought my mem card at FUTURE SHOP so it is not a fake (I am 99% sure)!
