Trying to join 2 Xvid videos with AC3 sound using virtualdub

I tried using Virtualdub to join the two avis, i get a message saying unable to find audio decompressor
i do have the AC3 codec installed and it plays fine with sound, Whats wrong?

Use VirtualDUBMOD because Virtualdub doesnt support ac3, remember to set video and audio to direct stream copy!!
