Dvdshrink 3.2.0.15 shuts down when trying to backup

When i try to backup Dvd shrink 3.2.0.15 shuts down . Im using anydvd 5.9.5.8. please help

Have you tried to uninstall shrink, clean the registry and then re-install.

I cleaned out the reg and then reinstalled shrink but is still shuting down when i hit the backup button.

Not going to help sort that particular problem for you, but try Nero recode instead.
Its almost identical to shrink except the Nero software requires an external encryption remover such as AnyDVD, but as you're already using that you should be fine.
Nero recode was written by the guy who wrote shrink, so you won't really have any new learning curve to go through.

Aeon Flux was the movie but the problem with it shuting down it does it to all movies i try. i reformated my computer this is the first time i tried DVD Shrink after i installed it.

when I press the backup button, it just freezes for about 5 to 10 seconds and then closes. I'm running XP pro and have all the latest updates from Windows update...

get dvdfab and rip that way ....if u have the movie on the harddrive already,rerip it with dvdfab and then use shrink

This just started happening with shrink on one of my computers.I used someone?s suggestion to uncheck "burn with nero" box in the preferences. It worked. Now it goes right to the backup window. DVD Shrink used to do this backup automatically, but just like some of you, there must have been a change in Nero and I can't find a version to make that work again.

when I use dvdshrink I go to back up it always shuts down on me too so i turned off the burn with Nero and then did back up and it worked But when I when I go into Nero to burn i get to the file and there is nothing there but if I dont go threw Nero and go to the file its there anyone help me out plzzzzzzzzz

I dont no what i am doing wrong but i re did those and tryed it again it backup with out shuting down does shrink open Nero its self or do I or is there a place in shrink to go cause when i go in Nero go to were its saved at there is nothing there ?

yes this is killing me to, on any movie when I hit Backup it just shuts down.

sorry for the dbl post but solved my problem, I went to Edit in DVD Shrink goto Preferences, last tab File I/O uncheck Enable Burning with Nero. I use DVD Decrypter to burn, I have Nero installed tho....
I love psobb but i need a credit card # to get back on :(
