Cloning CD's with Plextor!

I have Plextor PX-W1610A and I know it doesn't copy all games even with CloneCD because its dataread-mode is only RAW, where RAW+96 is the best. I have noticed that CloneCD has informed me about imperfect readings by error messages.

Now we come to my question and problem. I just updated my CloneCD from v.3 to v.4 and I'm not getting those error messages anymore. Would it be possible, that somehow they have done something that also my W1610A can copy those protected games despite of its dataread-mode?
