the wep isnt on the back of the router...you have to go into the router through your comp and under wireless settings it will give you a wep id. default is 192.168.1.1 password is admin(linksys router)
hope this helped

1. Open up an MSDOS prompt window and type ipconfig /all
2. You will see a bunch of addresses, look for "Default Gateway". There should be an IP Address next to it.
3. Type the address into your browser and press enter
4. You will be prompted for a username and password. Type in admin for both of them and click OK.
5. You will be taken to a page where you can change the router's settings, here you can find your WEP key.
Hope that helped,

If your pc is connected to the same router then you can double click the connection icon on the bottom right hand side (near clock), then click the support tab and it will show you the Default gateway number. You then take that number and put it in your internet explorer address bar.

If you have a number in the security key, it means the security being used by the router is WPA not WEP. PSPs that have FW1.5 or lower can not use access points with WPA security, so you'll have to go to your router configuration and change the encryption type to WEP and choose a new key.

p.s i know its a wep key because it SAYS wep key next to the number, and i didn't mean there was only one number in the bar.
