I am tryin to copy the movie guyver but no matter how i try to rip it the movie give me the same error: Data error(cyclic redundancy check)
and the disk is clean clonedvd also give this info: File 1 E:/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_1.VOB 23 TCSectorReader
can anyone tell me what to do next?

If you're using the latest version of AnyDVD and clonedvd2, then you should be able to backup this movie without a problem. You could try and use the ripper that's now included with AnyDVD, you can access it by right clicking on the red fox in your task bar, use the ripper to transfer the video files to your HDD, then use clonedvd2 to open the files and process as usual.

If you still can't successfully get a backup, then its possible that there may be something wrong with the disk itself, return it and exchange it for another, then try the process again with the new disk.

well the dvd plays fine and looks good for what can be expected from a movie this old. but i cannot return the movie cuz walmart dont take dvd or cd media back once it has been opened. i am using clonedvd2 v2.8.5.1
anydvd v5.3.2.1

Hi, your AnyDVD and CloneDVD are way out of date. Try to update it at slysoft and use the AnyDVD to do the ripping it to harddisk for you.

Just tried that and the same error occurs. im thinkin that there is one spot that has a error in it like on skyhigh where u had to use vobblanker to blank a couple files to make it read well i have found a point like that that everything messes up on and it is during the movie i do not know how to blank this file though and when u move to that point of the dvd in anything other than a player it locks up and crashes or give said error. do u think that i could blank part of it in any way and rip it with vobblanker?

If you just recently purchased this movie, take it back to Walmart for an exchange. I exchanged one 4 times and then I demanded my money back. Bought the movie from Best Buy and had no problems.

the wal-mart here will not take any media that is on any form of disk back if it has been open.
