I downgraded my friends psp's 2.0 to a 1.5 PSP. Now he can't play his GTA, I tried to guide him but he couldn't do it, So I borrowed his 32 mb and UMD and I simply installed RunUMD, with the X folder from my psp's memory stick. Now the thing is, I've got it to work but I think it just froze on me after a bit, Maybe its that 10 min thing, Sorry for asking a newbie question but I just want to make sure, cause he might think his UMD is broke! So how do I fix this?

I may be wrong, but i believe you have bricked/blocked your psp/mem stick. It becomes useless

The UMD is not broken!!

You have to use MPH Game Loader for GTA. Download it from here:http://mphwebsite.tuxfamily.org/index.php?downprg=1&program=19
You'll also need FW 2.00 in files format, download that from here: http://rapidshare.de/files/18512586/2.00_files_format.rar.html

Just follow the instructions in the readme.
