I just tried DVDFab and it did not work. It took about an hour to load the movie but when it came time to put in a disc and burn it, it did not retain the data. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I followed the instructions but get an error message that says the disc isn't valid. I tried it with an unprotected DVD and it burned just fine. Still confused.

DVDFab is a decrypter and not a burner. If you want to burn the file you will have to use Nero 7 you refered to in your other post. You may need to spend a few hours reading the forum on how to make backups of movies you own.
