ok i was playing my ps2 everythings been working fine for about 2-3 weeks.i just got the swap magic 3.6 with the lifting cover case. and at 1st my games werwe running flawlessly. then recently it started studdering with the dv's in the drive but the games were running but i was getting extremely long load times till the point i had to turn it off because it took to long to load. then after that happened with my resident evil 4 i turned my system off booted my BLACK and when i paused the game the screen turned off and the blue LED for the eject button turned off and now its not working at all someone please help me

If you have a slim pstwo what might have happened is when you installed the flip top you opened up the ps2 case and damaged the little chip by the power button.

well thank you for responding didnt think anyone wuld but i have the old fat ps2 and the case worked fine for about 3 days then my lens started slowing down my games like crazy and now it doesnt even turn on it turns on the LED turns on but i get no picture its as if the motherboard died. the only thing running is the ps2 fan

Hmmm...
Well I don't know too much about hardware but it seems like if the fan is the only thing working then a transistor or some other sort of power controller must have blown.
The best I could say is take it into some electronics guy but it may be cheaper just to get a new one.
