i have been doing some research and i havent come accross a chip that will support the hd in the browser screan. does anyone know of a chip that is capible. i have a version 5 ps2.

If you're talking about the PS2 browser screen, there isn't one.

If you get the DMZ4, you can use Toxic OS which has a built in browser that allows you to access the hd (and MC's and CD-ROM).

Yes, DMS4 Pro SE is the chip you want.
The ToxicOS flash for it has a built in HD Loader program
and a lot of features geared towards the hard drive.

you can check the features at the above link.
Go to the bottom of the page and look at the documentation link for
the ToxicOS V0.41 and you can see screen shots of the brower, it has tabs for games on the hard drive, apps you have loaded onto the flash memory of the chip and other stuff like entering codes for it's built in cheat device.
