Hi,
I was wondering if there is a free or commercial
all in one tool for the psp. One that will rip,
encode, and transfer a movie to the psp.

One more quick question. What is the difference
between mp4 and avc/h264?

Does one produce better video quality over the other?

There probably is but it will prob cost you $
Id suggest pspvideo9 it takes care of most the steps apart from ripping.
For ripping youll need dvd decrypter rip in IFO mode splitting option set to none.
Video9 handles the rest.

SPmp4 and AVCmp4 - AVC gives better quality with smaller filesize. AVC can only be played on psps firmware 2.0 and up. Only a few currently support AVC video9 is one of them.
