i just got the UMD and i didnt think i would need a 2.5 to play it. But my friend got it to work with mphgameloader. i have it as well but it still wont work. i think i need a dump or something. can anyone plz help me?

You could try Genesis UMD Launcher, http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/408, or Runumd, http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/404. RunUMD might be what your friend used, as it's a mod of MPHGameloader. Let us know how you got on.

For MPH Game Loader you need firmware 2.00 in files format (find the link here: http://eternal-psp.vze.com/dl.htm ).

You can also find the hybrid fimware from that link (some games require the hybrid firmware to run).
