I have a slim ps2 and I have Swapmagic 3.6, Gameshark, and AR MAX at my disposal.
Is this possible?

you need the breaker pro cd or a special ar max version with the ps1 cd..but i don't think that this will work on slimline...so buy a breaker pro cd

Can't you load swap magic, load a backup copy of breaker pro, then load the PSX game? I'm assuming breaker pro is something similar to swap magic but for PSX games instead of PS2 games on the PS2?

Right, but you can't load up a BackUpBreaker Pro via Swap Magic..
You have to use the Breaker Pro Original Disc..Swap Magic will not boot up the (copied) Breaker Pro Disc because it's a PS1/PSX CD.

Swap Magic has only the TOC/ID for PS2 CD and DVD-Games not for PS1/PSX discs... You also can't do it with a burnt version of action replay/gameshark... You will be able to load it up via swap magic, but when you try to change the discs it will freeze...

you can try it out, but i guarantee you that it will not work.
I know that it's shitty to pay for it..but you have to buy it.
I have bought Swap Magic and Breaker Pro and both work fine combined with my flip-top. It only costs 20-25 ?/$ and it's worth it's money.

I think it's funny that you can find dumped breaker pro and swap magic iso's via eMule and other filesharing networks..

Ahh, ok didn't know it was a PSX disc.

I know the swap magic files you can find can be used when you have say, version 3.3, and need to use version 3.6 but don't want to pay for it, you can load the ORIGINAL version 3.3 disc, then swap to the new version, and THEN swap to the game... not sure about breaker pro though, as I've never used it before.

as i said, you can't use it for loading up a breaker pro backup.
yes it's a psx disc. it can be used as a boot-cd for backups and imports on psx and ps2
