Help with shrinking Quicktime clips for a website?

Hi folks,

I have a family website we use to post pictures of our son, among other things. Since both of our families are scattered all over the country, they really appreciate being able to view updated pics on the web every month.

Well, I'd like to add video clips too. My digital camera takes Quicktime clips at 640 x 480, and while I could just plug the entire clip in like that, I'd like to shrink it, and compress it some if possible, to make the downloads a little faster, especially for the people on dial-up.

I was wondering if someone could offer some advice, or point me towards a tutorial that covers this sort of thing? I do some freelance photography and am pretty experienced at editing still photos, but I don't have any video experience. The software I currently have on this computer for video work is: Adobe Premiere, Sonic MyDVD, DVDShrink, and VSO DivXtoDVD. Hopefully some combination of this stuff will work.
