How do you create BUP file and do the files need to be on the DVD?

When I decrypt the DVD these files are not present in my directory. Are these file needed. Nero gives me the a error message stating that these BUP file are not found.

Are these required files?

This is a very simple problem to solve. You need to download a tool called IFOedit. After you have decrypted the movie, make sure you only have vob files in the folder. Then open up IFOedit and go to create IFOs. It will ask you where you want the IFO files and the BUP files to go, just select the folder with the vobs. Dont worry, this tool is very easy to use.

You will always need those IFO files and BUP files to burn a movie.

If your ripping a DVD-9 movie though you'd only rip all main movie .VOB's & main title .IFO then let DVD2One create needed .BUP file (s) ready for burning

If I ripp the entire DVD (not just mani title). I use IFOEdit to create my BUP file for VTS_01_0.VOB.

How do I Create BUP for VTS_02_0.VOB? IFOEdit just writes to VTS_01?

Yes to they're needed & Smartripper or DVD Decrypter are you ripping/unencrypting with ?

If you rip the entire movie there isn't any need to create anymore files.
Smartripper will rip ALL files if selected but DVD Decrypter needs settings adjusted to take all files.
