DMS 4 lite EZI soldering points

Hi, I just wanted to know, if it is possible to solder a DMS 4 lite EZI on a V 14. Isn't DMS 4 lite EZI same chip core as DMS 4 lite. If it is, is it possible to have the soldering points for a V 14.

OK, first off, why would you want to?
The EZI is solderless, if you want to solder one in the get the DMS4 Pro or DMS4 Lite.
They are cheaper anyway, and made to be soldered in.
You could get a DMS4 Pro for under the price of the EZI chips.

But yes, if you really wanted to the EZI can be soldered in, but only on a V5-V11 PS2
Not the slimline models like the V14. That is why you need the DMS4 Pro instead

okay, thanks for the info. You ask y...thats beacause i took it out of my fat ps2, which i gave away. so i was just wondering if there was soldering points for v 14. well since there isn't....

p.s what would be an easy install, but good modchip for V14

well if you are real good at soldering then they are all pretty much the same, 17 tiny wires to solder to 17 tiny solderpoints on the
PSTwo motherboard.
Best chips:
DMS4 Pro SE, Matrix Infinity, Crystal Chip (all solder in type)
Search for each one and MAKE SURE it is compatible with a V14
I know the solderless EZI chips are not, but i have a DMS4 Pro in my V12 so it should also work with newer slimline models
