I just got my benQ burner and used dvdshink and dvd decrypter to backup my first movie. When i tried to do another all went well until DVD decrypter tried to burn it to disk. About 70% in to it the computer freezes.. Iv now tried this on 3 different movies. One movie was not encrypted so I used Nero 7 only to shink and burn it.
The same think happened about 50% complete. Im open for any ideas. Thanks.

Well, first thing is first. You should be in a different forum. This doesn't have much to do with DVD Shrink!

Your first problem is that DVD Decrypter is no longer updated. Change to DVDFab Express. It is a free program. I have AnyDVD which helps a lot. With AnyDVD running I can shrink the movie file then run it through DVDFab. I then burn the movie from the DVDFabDecrypter_Temp file through Nero 6.

Another thing is that I have heard that Nero 7 has a few issues. You might want to check and see if there are any updates for it.

Oops sorry about that. Im pretty new to this. Thanks for the infor. I will check into that. I did use DVDFAB with Nero and the same thing happened.. It must be Nero 7

First thing to try is to watch the movie with Nero before you try to record it. Make sure that the movie is there in its entirety. I don't know what movie it is, but if it is a Sony then you may have black screen. You can use PgcEdit or VobBlanker (both are free) to get rid of that issue. Another thing to check is that you are using good quality DVD's.
