i want to burn the movies Hostel and The Legend of zorro,but on the hostel MOVIE my hp dvd buner or my other I/O MAGIC + - DONT START PLAYING THE MOVIE INTO THE 20 MINUTES,On zorro it stars playing the movie into the 9 minutes,is there a problem with my both my dvd burners,i dont have any problems with any other movies.PS I play the movie on my regular dvd player and it works, I need help.thank yuo

The 2 movies you have mentioned, what is their source and what burning prog are you using and brand of disc.

This sometimes happens when the disk has structural copy protection that is removed. Can you fastreverse to the beginning of the movie? Some titles also hang at the beginning and one has to jump to the next chapter to get them to play and then fastreverse to the beginning. This can sometimes be avoided by using the Start-End frame feature in the reauthor mode of DVD Shrink to clip the black space at the beginning of the movie and have the movie begin at the studio splash screen.

I have the same Qs as Gwendolin. What software programs did you use for the backup and what is the brand of media.

I tried playing the movies,ps.just playing them and it does the same thing,zorro starts playing into the 9 minutes hostel into the 20 minutes ,do i need to download some special decoder for both my dvd burners just to play the movies,gracias
