Hi I have recently built a new system containing:

amd 64 3500+
asus a8nsli se
corsair value select pc3200 512mb ram
asus 7300gs
Maxtor 40gb (about 3 years olds from an old system)

I got it all loaded and xp was running. Then a few days later i got this blue screen containing an error. I reset my computer nd thought nothing of it. It then happened about 5 days later and the error was:

***Stop: 0x00000024 (0x001902FE, 0xF8A98ADC, 0xF8A987DB, 0XF83D749B)

***Ntfs.sys - address F83D749B base at F839C000, DateStamp 41107eea

I reset my computer and left my it for a while and then this error appeared:

BAD_POOL_CALLER

***STOP:0x000000C2 ( 0x00000040, 0x00100000, 0x80000000,0x00000000)

I then restarted my computer and windows wouldnt load it came up with this error

***Stop: 0x00000050
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Ntfs.sys

I then checked the hdd using error checking on the last test this came up

Stop: C0000221 unkown hard error
\system root\system32\ntdll.dll
i then used maxtor powermax to check the disk and it passed.

i then tried to start windows in safe mode and this error came up

Stop: C000021a (Fatal systen error)

Please can someone help me find out what is causing the problem?

Thank you in advanced.

This might be of help.

Bad_Pool_Caller is a device or device driver problem.

However, it does concern me a bit for you to be having multiple error codes upon rebooting. The last time that happened to me, the board went up in smoke..literally.
