Hi people

Not a newb but not sure what im doing wrong here.
Ive got fifa06 on UMD and have dumped it to memory stick which all works fine as ive run it with umdemulator but I wanted to take the fifa dump and shink it.

I took it into YAUIS and chose to shink then rebuilt using umdgen to make the ISo but its still about 1.04 gig so it aint shunk hardly at all.

if anyone could let me know what might be wrong that would be great !

Try use UMD Ripper instead of YAUIS. Download it from here:

ok tried to install 2.5 and it work work at all

tried 2.0 but it cant iind the ISO where ever I put it which is pretty useless and its in spanish

Could someone give me a step by step cos i must be doing something wrong.

need to know from step 1 - dumping the UMD to final step of getting it shrunk.

Use this, http://www.umdgen.com/utilities.html
its the latest version of it 3.0 and its got a load of new features including searching for dummy files that can reduce the size of ur iso, i ripped mine down to about 570mb, it was an already ripped version which was 400mb without commentary, so i added the commentary and it became 570mb!
