i just gotta 2GB stick and it seems like the transfer speed between my PC and PSP is kinda slow. seems alot faster on my old Lexar 1GB

for a 900MB file- it takes about 6-7 mins on the Scandisk

is this a normal behavior?

you sure it's scandisk because i am sure it was suppose to be called sandisk i also have a 2gb sandisk but i can tell you it only takes me 3mins for a 900mb file to be transferd maybe you might have got a fake one by the look of it. you vietnamese?

its blue and i bought it at retail store, Fry's Electronic..
total size is 1950 MB so may not be fake

maybe i will try formatted it again.

I have a Sandisk 1GB Gaming Memory and it is indeed - slow. So I think it's supposed to be like that or else it's fake.

6 to 7 minutes is slow? When I transfer 900mb, it takes 25 minutes for me. Partially because I have usb 1.1.

hellopsp probably has the ultra II...
also remember that its not just the size that comes into play, its what type of file you are transfering and what type of stick you have and what type of usb port you have on your computer.
For instance
a 900 mb iso will transfer faster than
900 mb of music albums split up into folders, or 900 mb of roms.
and obvouisly it will go faster on usb 2.0 usb ports over 1.1 ports.
