Whats the problem, can't you setup your internet connection? Are you getting any errors? Do you have a wireless router?

I have a wireless-G broadband router (linksys) Model-WRT54G and when I scan it says
SSID- linksys_SES_34555 WPA-PSK (TKIP) signal 100%
Then I click X then it says WPA-PSK (TKIP) WLAN Security setting and I have to enter a WPA key but I dont know what that is.

The WPA key is the one you use for your router when you go online, it prevents unwanted people connecting to your wireless router without persmission. To view this passphrase, go to your internet browser on your computer, in the adress bar, type in "192.168.1.1" the default should be
Username - admin
Password - admin
For every router, now you will be at your routers configuration settings, click on the Wireless section, than there should be more sub heading, click on wireless secuirity. Now you'll see 4 boxes with loads of numbers and letters, try using one of those passes for the WPA Key and it should connect afterwards.
Good Luck!

Who bought the router, and more importantly, who set up the router after you bought it.

What firmware PSP do you have?
If its lower than 2.00, then you can't use access points with WPA security, you must change it to WEP security.

That isn't true, for a linksys, the actual default has the password as admin also. It said on the manual as well (mine is linksys)

just browse around until you see the WEP key... then add it into your psp settings... what i do is add the psps MAC address to my routers allow list, that makes sure you dont hit any access snags
