First of all, I suggest that you download DVD Fab Decrypter, it is easy to use and is more up to date with latest decrypter. Here is where you can find Dvd Fab Decrypter, http://dvdidle.com/free.htm . After you download it, it will give you a file called DVD with two folders inside AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS, I suggest you put them where you can find them easily, I personally put it in C: drive. After you run your legally owned DVD's thru it,(one step) go to DVDShrink. When in Shrink, go to edit, then preferences and set up your Shrink, usually a one time step. You can set it up to automaticlly find your DVD file, also if you use Nero to burn with, set it up to start automatically. When you use Shrink, burn at 4x or 8x at the highest, for better burns. I am pretty much a newbie and I figured it out with the help of this forum, so read it often and look up all the guides on top. I have had only one unsccessful burn and it was a DL DVD-R problem and it was fixed by a firmware upgrade. ps. use the best media you can get, preferebly Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Fugi and Sony made in Japan. I have used Sony made in Tawain with success, but my best scans were with Taiyo Yuden. I bought 50 for $20.00, at supermediastore.com with free shipping. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Did you set up DVDShrink to automatically burn with nero? Are both of your drivers burners? If so, you may have to click on the one that you need. What media are you using? Some burners won't recognize it,if it is not compatable. Check and see if your firmware is up to date and see if your burner likes the media. I had a problem with some dual layer DVD-R media, until I changed my firmware. What kind of burners do you have? I have a NEC and CD Freaks, have some great hacked firmware. I see by one of your other threads, you don't have a DVD burner. Like Laddyboy said, Newegg is the place to go, I suggest that you get the NEC 3550A like I have then you can use Liggy and Dee's upgraded firmware. I did that and it really makes a difference. Only problem is your warranty is no good if you use hacked firmware. Too me it was worth it. Good Luck... I am new to this stuff too, but these forums will help you out.
