Load the files into DVD Shrink and see if the titles include audio tracks.

It appears there is indeed an audio file. It is a DTS surround sound file. Are you positive your dvd player and computer can decode DTS files? FFDShow IIRC has a filter that will enable DTS playback for some software players. I also thought Media Player supported DTS. Are you trying to playback on Media Player on your computer or are you using another software player? Depending on your DVD player, it may or may not have support for DTS. The problem could also be due to a corrupt audio file or some other problem. I'm not an audio expert so I'm just throwing out possibilities here.

I burned a DVD on DTS, and it wouldn't play on my 2 channel stereo or my desk top, no sound. It would, however play on my stereo with DTS decoder. I found out, that you have to put it on ac3 5.1 English or what ever language you choose. It will play on everything then, so if I don't use to much compression, I use them both and use audio tab to change. DTS takes a large file, usually 550+ mb.
