hi, i dont know if this is the right place to post this, and i just want to say in advance, im sorry if i sound stupid, here is where i am coming from, i dont know what im doing, anything i have learned was from this forum. im a mom with a crappy computer who just wants to make a back up copy of my dvds so my kids wont ruin all my movies. heres the question,,, i had the trial of dvd clone,, it worked great the 7 days i used it,, then my computer was down for other reasons,, so i didnt use the 21 days,, i thought well id just uninstall and reinstall then use up what was left of my free trial,, well when i did that,, everything went wrong,, it doesnt work the same,, at all really,, and dvd shrink wont work either,, i want to purchase dvd clone but i want to make sure it will work like when i first installed it if i spend the 40 bucks on it.. thats alot of money to me.. does anyone know if maybe its just not working because of me reinstalling it? will it work right if i buy it? please help,, and again im sorry for sounding stupid.. im trying to learn....

You won't be able to reinstall AnyDVD or Clone DVD after the original 21 free trial. The only way you'll get it to work is by purchasing the software. If money is tight there are free alternatives to those 2 excellent programs. You could also just purchase AnyDVD which will allow you to use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink and Nero if you have that. I don't use Clone DVD but it is a good program.

Thank you.. i have the Nero,, came with my computer,, i think its Nero 6.. like i said i dont really know that much,,just trying to learn. i did the AnyDVD trial too, but i didnt know how to use it. I think it was on sometimes though because when i would restart the computer it would pop up. maybe thats why the dvd clone worked so well? i have DVD Shrink too and the decryperter,,, they worked before and during those 7 days, but since i reinstalled dvdclone they wont work now either. maybe its just my computer settings or something Im not sure.. unfortunetly my 8 year old knows more about computers than I do.. thank you guys for not ridiculing me for my posts, and thank you for the help,, thank you for the private messages as well to those of you who sent them.. im trying every single thing any of you say,, lol somethings gotta work!

There is nothing to learn with AnyDVD it just sits in the background running and strips out the copy protections on the newer movies. That's why Decrypter and Shrink don't work. They can't get past the DRMs they put on the new discs to prevent backups. Download DVD fab decrypter and use it with shrink and Nero. It lets you rip the movie to HDD. Get it here and other goodies:
