The PSP only recognises songs that are in MP3 or ATRAC3 format, what format are your songs?

Also the PSP will not recognise a song if you put it in a a subfolder of a folder. For example:
X:\PSP\MUSIC\song1.mp3 <-- This will be recognised
X:\PSP\MUSIC\Folder\song2.mp3 <-- This will also be recognised
X:\PSP\MUSIC\Folder\Folder2\song3.mp3 <--This will not be recognised.

(Where X is the drive letter of your PSP)

Most of them are MPUs I suppose thats why its not working. The program that I downloaded them from saved them as MPUs.Is there anyways to change that?

Hmm. The only player that I know which plays MPU files is iTunes, maybe it can convert it too.

I have iTunes which explains why those files work.
