Is there a DVD authoring program that can beep out words. I have a young child and some of the movies that I would want to watch with her I can't, due to the language content.

You can use VideoReDo. There are others that will do what you want but the process is much more involved. It's not an authoring program, so it will still have to be authored after the audio is edited.
