Can I upgrade Windows Xp to Media centre edition. Or do you specifically need a media pc.

according to Microsoft's website, Windows Xp Media Centre is an operating system only available on Media Center PCs. They have special hardware requirement. So I don't think you'ii be able to upgrade.

Verify code before pressing the last #.
If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked.

with windows media center 2005 you can actually upgrade your system. newegg has it for like $119 or something like that.
