Okay, I decided yesterday to try to put the Fired Up Browser on my 1.5 so I could browse the net, right? Well I ran into a few problems, particularly with UMD Emualtor not running right.
This is what my memory stick looks like:
Root directory has:
GAME, PHOTO, UMDEMULATOR, WEB (this came with the Fired Up Browser), MUSIC, SAVEDATA, and ISO.
Inside the root directory's UMD Emulator is CONFIG, CORE.BIN, RUNUMD.pbp, and MENU.bmp.
Inside the root directory's ISO folder is the FIRED UP BROWSER.iso
Inside the root directory's WEB folder is .DS STORE, CUSTOM.HTML, and a folder called IMG. Inside that folder is .DS_STORE, BG.bmp (a background, FRIED UP.gif, and GO.gif.
Is that where everything is supposed to be?
When I go to run UMD Emulator, the program starts off fine, but then I'm met with this:
This might be what everyone gets, but the difference with me is that it WILL NOT DO ANYTHING! Wait, I take that back. If I press triangle, it will take me to either the home menu or to shut it down.

Thats not your root directory thats your PSP folder
your root directory is your memory sticks main page where the PSP folder is. So take out UMDemulator and WEB and iso and put them next to PSP not inside it.
Then youll have a background when you start it.
