every time i try my connection it connects the access point but it wont obtain my IP adress it says ip adress has timed out HELP ME!!

check your connection signal it may be to weak. I had the same problem and just had to move to a different part of the house also after u get on go to tools and write down all the info and put it in manually then it wont have to obtain it

There are several things you can do to increase the performance of your Wifi connection. First go to Settings on your PSP and tunr WLAN Powersave off. This makes your battery run out faster but it increases the performance of your Wifi. To increase the speed of your connection or to solve some issues you may have, you have to specify your WLAN settings manually (IP Address etc). On windows, press start and then run. Type cmd and press OK. Then type ipconfig /all. You should see the IP Address of your computer as well as the Default Gateway etc. When you set up your WLAN connection on your PSP, choose custom setup (instead of easy) and copy these settings except the IP Address (for this copy the IP Address from the command prompt, but change the last number).
