i have a v1.5 psp and i wanted to update it to v2. i downloaded the eboot file but i dont know how to update other than sony's site which would take me to 2.7. can anyone help me?

im trying to put a movie on the psp but the files are too big 4 my 512 mb card with sp and it takes forever to encode. im only going to upgrade to 2 which can be downgraded again. my psp was a 1.5 originally and i upgraded to 2 and downgraded a month ago. i think its easier to encode in avc format so im going to upgrade to 2 for watching movies.

Hold on mate, what settings are u using and what software are u using?
Its probably that ur using to high a bitrate. I can fit an hour and half movie in 300megs, thats using a bitrate of 384kbps video an 128kbps audio. So if i can help u out i will, save u the need to upgrade.

i used xilisoft's converter and it worked! it was 400mb's and it was 512 kbps video and 64kbps audio. do you any way to change the bitrates with the xilisoft converter?
