I've got a new computer and a new OS. It's been a long time since I've done a Windows install. My old computer has a 30 gig HD in a single volume. My new one has a 300 gig HD, and I suspect I should create partitions for the system, applications, and small data files and large data files. (Have I left any out?)

I've got some idea how much space for aps, but how much space should I give this version of Windows? Sorry if this seems like a retarded question--as I said, it's been awhile.

No one can answer this question except yourself, It really depends on how you organize the files. If you have a lot of videos, then you might create a drive to specifically for videos. So ya, you know what I mean.

Fast Response. Free. Easy

Remove the SIM card, Power On your Cell phone.
Press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
If it still says Restriction on after you have entered the code, then the code is incorrect.
If it says Restriction Off, then the phone is unlocked.

My question was how many gigs should I give to my System Volume for Windows XP x64 and its drivers and settings? I wouldn't be keeping video or word processing files (etc), nor routine applications in that volume. But I've a feeling XP x64 will be needing more space than 32 bit XP.
