Ok, so first I need to use something like DVDFab or DVDshrink to get the clips i want off a DVD. DVDFab is fine if you have endless amount of storage, but DVDshrink is good to get the size down as both programs only let me copy the WHOLE dvd. so I thought great! DVDshrink makes them smaller and even tho it copied the whole dvd, it was approximately just half the size of the files when DVDFab does it...One problem tho...I use these clips in my Ulead Video Studio 9. I import chapters from the copied DVD into the program. Works brilliantly for DVDFab but the program crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME when i use the files from the DVD copied by DVDShrink.
A few months back I even tried the trial version of DVDFab express/platinum/gold or whichever it was...the same thing happened...Ulead Video Stdio 9 crashed each and every time I wanted to import a chapter.

Can anyone shed any light on why this is happening? Why the only time it doesnt crash is when DVDFab has copied the DVD? Even when everything is copied exactly the same by each of the copying methods?
